Kiln News – February 2023
Projects Projects Projects |
Getting this year going with a wide range of projects: First off is the Bowlsaver Max 4 Coring System (!!!) that we are so excited finally made it through customs. For those of you that are unfamiliar, bowl coring allows you to make several nesting bowls out of a single piece of wood – which cuts down on time and waste. Stay tuned because we got Andrew on camera testing it out and sharing his thoughts and lessons learned as he tries it out. We have a couple of custom orders that are also in the works, as well as getting our first order of side tables finished and ready for their tops from the foundry. Can’t wait to share pictures of the final products! |

In the Kiln |
The kiln is on standby at the moment while we book out the remaining space – but in the down time we headed out to a property for some reclaimed maple a local tree service took down. It was a huge, gorgeous tree and we got some pieces with some great figuring. We also got the Alaska mill out and cut some very pretty slabs – can’t wait to see what we can turn out of these! If you’re ready to go we have space in the current run, call us at (425)312-3885 or email us anytime. Of course, we are always happy to answer questions about the process or our services – contact us or check out our FAQs page anytime. |
