INTRO TO WOODTURNING
Start with a hunk of wood, and *turn* it into something to be proud of! Students will learn the fundamentals of woodturning by turning a mortar & pestle on the lathe. The spindle turning, cross-grain turning and safety techniques taught in this course are invaluable skills for any new woodturner!
$299 Per Person
All classes are 4 hour personal 1 on 1 sessions. One guest can attend with the student for an additional $75 fee for materials. Must be 18 or over to attend. Fee covers all materials and equipment.

Turn your own wood bowl! Learn the techniques for hollowing out either a dry or green chunk of wood and how to achieve the shape and thickness of your design. Try a variety of tools and methods for adding design elements such as texture or pattern.
$299 Per Person

4 WEEK INTENSIVE COURSE
Build a stave bowl from start to finish! Begin with raw wood, cut and mill the staves, learn glue up techniques, assemble, then turn into a beautiful, impressive bowl. Creating these bowls is a great experience because it requires using several woodworking and woodturning skills.
$599 Per Person
This is a 3 hour class once a week for 4 weeks. All classes are personal 1 on 1 sessions. One guest can attend with the student for an additional $75 fee for materials. Must be 18 or over to attend. Fee covers all materials and equipment.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES
We believe that woodworking is for everyone. Full stop. To that end, woodworking classes, products and services shouldn’t be intimidating or difficult to access. We tailor our classes to our student’s skill level and encourage everyone to explore and enjoy woodworking.
- All classes are held in our main facility in Marysville (find directions here)
- We try to accommodate every student’s needs, please contact us prior to your class if you have accessibility requirements
- All students must be 18 or older
- All of our classes are one on one personal instruction
- Students can bring one guest for an additional fee of $75 for materials – contact us prior to your class to let us know if you are bringing a guest
